The aim of this study was to explain problematic of explanation of football according to Dramaturgial sociologicial theory. The Dramaturgial theory of Goffman tried to explain social structure within ego, actor, stage, decor concepts and considered everyday life as a system of individuals exhibiting their egos at scene.
In this context, some concepts and features of the theory has been applied to football, and it is seen that concepts and properties of theory has been coincided with football. In this study, actors were players and referees; front region was field; back area was dressing room; viewers were and fans; goal post, nets, corner flags, whistles of referees; yellow and red cards, balls, advertising boards, seats were considered as decor.
