History is replete with the struggle between members of different religions. These struggles have turned the world an unlivable place instead of living with religious harmony in the world. However, when people give attention to love, mutual understanding and tolerance among different religions based on humanitarian values, the world has been the piece of tolerance, tranquility and harmony. From this perspective, if individuals belonging to different religions promote interfaith dialogue messages to each other, which will make greater contribution to peace building efforts. These endeavors also provide an opportunity to know various individuals from different religious traditions and respect to their way of life. It is clear that the lack of mutual understanding among religious individuals lead to various conflicts in the recent years. Thus, interfaith dialogue is not luxury; rather it is anurgent necessity to solve various socio-religious problems of the world. However, understanding the interfaith dialogue only as the transmissions of religious messages of holy books or scriptures stay an insufficient initiative. Therefore, we first need to reinterpretation of tolerance and dialogue messages of sacred texts, and then we should consider these interpretations in terms of practical aspects in social life. In this framework, we should move from verbal communication to practical issues in dialogue and tolerance. Here, the concept of justice has a key role in this transformation processes, and this article will examine its importance and historical application in this debate.
