Kul Nasimi, who was one of the folk poets in 17.th century, was highly influenced by the thoutghts and arts of Sayyid Nasimi, a 14.th century poet. We see clearly these influences on him. The first thing we should pay attention on these influences is that Kul Nasimi accepted his nickname “Nasimi” from Sayyid Nasimi. n his thought “Ana’l-Haq”, the rhetoric of Sayyid Nasimi from the view of Sufizim and the philosophy of Hurufizim (secret codes of Arabic letters) influenced Kul Nasimi very highly and these affects were reflected on his poetry. In addition, the poet wrote poems in the form of divan style couplets and prosody meter in place of writing syllabic meter and quatrain.
