Mehmet Âkif ?nan; The man raised the idea that Turkey is one of the artists and unionists. Believing her life on the idea of Islam, ?nan frequently explores the process of intellectuals from the Tanzimat to the present. According to Inan, the deterioration of the intellectuals begins with the Tanzimat and continues. Even Westernization has reached such a degree that there are almost no intellectuals, artists and politicians who do not carry traces from the West. He is also alienated from the intellectual nation, who turns his back on his own cultural heritage. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the conditions of the intellectuals from Tanzimat to the present from the works of Mehmet Âkif ?nan.
