The aim of this study is to examine Dangal movie according to feminist therapy. In this context, content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The movie is focused the equality of women and men, gender roles, class differences, cultural structures and the empowerment of women. It has been found appropriate to examine the movie in a supportive and critical way according to feminist therapy concepts. In particular, equality of women and men, gender roles has been intensively mentioned in the movie. One of the most important features of the movie is the reaction of the characters against inequality and gender roles. Dangal movie can be used as an educational material in applied studies which equality of women and men, gender roles, class differences and the empowerment of women.
