Job security is one of the issues of increasing importance. When we look at the literature, it is one of the topics that are of interest and are highly researched. Job security in general can be defined as job security by securing the work of the worker and protecting the contract of employment against arbitrary termination and limiting the employer's right to termination and preventing termination not based on a valid reason. It is only possible for the enterprises to maintain their existence in the working life, to have high quality and efficiency, only by increasing the performance of the employees. One of the most important production factors in today's businesses is human. And the purpose of the research is to show that the performance of the human element will be increased with the perception of job security. In this sense, in order to determine the effect of job security on employee performance, a questionnaire was applied to the employees of the State Railways in Afyonkarahisar. In order to determine the effect of job security perceptions of TCDD employees on their performance, the data obtained were entered into SPSS 16 and hypotheses were tested by constructing Structural Equation Model in AMOS 19 program. It was concluded that there are significant relationships between job security and performance.
