This study aims to determine the opinions and evaluations of religious culture and knowladge of ethics (RCKE) teacher candidates about “Teaching Practice” course. In accordance with this aim, it is attempted to determine the opinions of RCKE teachers about their expectations from teaching practice and the positive or negative things they encountered in teaching practice courses and suggestions concerning this cours. The study is a qualitative study, carried out with 70 teacher candidates who have attended in teaching practice. The study group of the research consists of 40 teacher candidates from the 4th grade of the department of Primary Teaching Training in Religious Culture and Klowledge of Ethics at the faculty of Theology at Inonu University, and 30 teacher candidates from teacher certificate program at the Faculty of Education at Inonu University in the 2014-2015 academic year. Data of the study were collected through a survey form included openended questions and developed by the researcher and content analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data obtained. With the study realized as a result of the essential findings obtained, it is seen that the teaching practicum courses are quite useful for the teacher candidates concerning the gains of teaching profession general competencies. In the study, additionally, the problems encountered during the implementation of teaching practice courses and following this, some solution suggestions related to these problems were put forwarded.
