The political, social and legal incidents that happened in Khalifa Othman's period has left deep wounds in Islamic philosophical history. There is a historical background to these social and political incidents. Political and social wrangling seen in the Pre-Islamic tribes emerged again during this period. These conflicts influenced the peace in the social life and shook the state's authority. The most problematic part about this issue is the fact that it influenced the thoughts and beliefs of the Muslims. Muslims began to evaluate political and social events in the context of faith. This was the basis for the wars of Jamal, S?ffin and Nahrawan which had developed in the later period and had an impact on the emergence of Kharijite. These events have also influenced the formation of religious beliefs of Muslims and have created the political and social consequences that have been reflected to the present day.
