After Russia's domination of the Caucasus during the tsar’s reign, many of the remaining Caucasians being affected by this situation, who had to migrate to more than 40 different countries as a result of the kind of pressure applied to the region, cooperated with the Germans during 2nd World War. That the behavior of the Germans was more humane was effective in this cooperation. This cooperation was interpreted by Stalin as ‘collective treason of the Caucasians against the USSR' and millions of Caucasians during 2nd World War who were either guilty or not were subjected to the migration. The Soviet power of the period ignored this process that many losses had gotten and many problems that followed. Some communities of the Caucasus, which had no participation in cooperation with the Germans, continue to suffer today from this punishment that has fined by Soviet Russia. These penalties have caused many negative emotions, such as exclusion, humiliation and anger for the exposed and their children. As a result of these events, was fueled the consciousness of ethnic nationalism and even racism among the people of the Caucasus.
