The aim of the study is Foucault, Lyotard and Bauman’s views on power. The views of the mentioned thinkers on power were examined in the context of their general theories. In this study, which was based on qualitative data analysis, the document analysis method was applied. In this method, which is based on the systematic analysis of written documents, from the texts which were written by the thinkers themselves and the books and articles written by others were used. As a result of the study, it has been understood that the power will not only rely on oppression, but will also produce knowledge and pleasure and reinforce its own dominance correspondingly. It has been reached the point of view that meta-narratives based on history caused to Hitlerist fascism in Germany and totalitarian governments as in the Soviets, therefore small narratives should dominate instead. It has been determined that the capital has become internationalized and dominated new places, especially depending on the development of the information industries, whereas the political powers that remained local could not take effective measures. It has been understood that the political powers, who cannot implement structural solutions against the uncertainties and insecurities that people face, reduce the issue to unsafety and try to solve the problem with increasing inspections and controls, and these measures also prevent overcoming real problems.
