This study was conducted to examine the relation between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment on the part of nurses. The study was conducted on 200 nurses working at Süleyman Demirel University Research and Application Hospital in January, 2018. This study used questionnaires as a means of collecting data. The survey form comprises three sections. Data was obtained using demographic information form, perceived organizational support scale and organizational commitment scale. Whether perceived organizational support levels and organizational commitment levels varied depending on the demographic and professional characteristics and conditions of nurses was tested and evaluated. Correlation analysis was used in order to identify any relations between perceived organizational support levels and organizational commitment levels of respondents. As a result of correlation analysis, meaningful, positive and moderate degree of relation was observed between the organizational support levels perceived by respondents and their organizational commitment levels. It is anticipated the results of this study will be a contribution to literature of healthcare management and healthcare management stakeholders.
