This study was carried out to examine the relationship between perfectionism, which is a personality trait, and work-family conflict. Also, within the scope of the study, the differences between the demographic characteristics of the participants and their perfectionism attitudes and the work-family conflict were tried to be determined. The sample of the study consists of 203 nurses working in the public sector. The analyzes revealed that there was a significant difference between the perfectionism attitudes of the participants and their levels of work-family and family-work conflict. Accordingly, participants with high maladaptive perfectionism scores experience more work-family conflicts than those who are adaptive perfectionists and non-perfectionists. The analyzes also showed that participants with a tendency to perfection experience higher levels of family-work conflict. Finally, significant differences were found between the perfectionism attitudes of the participants and the administrative task, gender and work-family conflict, the variables of administrative duty and number of children and family-work conflict. Findings obtained within the scope of the research are discussed in the context of the literature.
