Useyd b. Hudayr became Muslim thanks to Musab b. Umeyr, who was sent to Medina by prophet Muhammad. As a man who could read and write and one of the leaders of his tribe acquired the nickname “el Kamil”. After he turned into Islam , Useyd b.Hudayr, as one of the opinion leaders of Muslims, carried out activities to show people the true path and invite them to Islam. He was among those few believers that guarded Muhammad at the cost of their lives although they were badly wounded. It was him who protected the trench in the Battle of Trench, carried the flag of his tribe the Conquest of Mecca, became influential in gaining a victiry of Muslim army and played an important role in electing the first caliph. Useyd passed away during the reign of Caliph Umar.
