While the quality of work life means meeting the needs and expectations of the employees and increasing the quality of life, turnover intention is to have a negative attitude towards the business by getting the feeling that the employee is not getting enough job satisfaction. The aim of this study is to determine the level of work life quality of employees in hospitality businesses, to see whether their expectations can be met, and to what extent the quality of work life affects employees' intention to leave. The population of the research consisted of a total of 610 employees working in hospitality businesses in Erzurum Palandöken Winter Tourism Center. The sample was selected from this population using simple random sampling method. Face-to-face survey technique was used, inaccurate and incomplete surveys were ruled out and the remaining 228 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 for Windows program. Both scales used in the study are quite reliable (α = .828 and α=.840). Correlation and regression analyzes were applied to test the hypotheses that established in this study. As a result of the regression analysis, it was revealed that the quality of work life had a rate of 65% effect on turnover intention. Anyway, as a result of the correlation analysis, a significant and negative relationship was detected between the quality of work life and turnover intention (p=0.01). It may be said that the more the quality of work life of the employees in the hospitality business increases, the more their intention to leave the job decreases as well.
