In this study concerning with both the material and spiritual cultural situation of Üsküdar, The encylclopedia of stanbul, an important work in terms of socio-cultural analysis of stanbul, has been considered at length in the context of Üsküdar and a general assessment has been made with the material about Üsküdar reflecting in the work.
