One of the most important factors that add value to universities except academic education is the quality of socio-cultural institutions. These socio-cultural institutions are part of formal education as well as important in terms of informal education; university, environment, local and guest public relations; regional development. Probably the most important socio-cultural institutions within the university are the museums. Among these museums, the museums, which contain art works as an upper culture product, are privileged. According to the history of museology in our country, the formation of museums within universities is not advanced. Trakya University's museums have been included in a few museums and collections of important universities. One of them, Güngör-Güner Ar?bal collection was examined in this study with quantitative and qualitative data. The artists and their arts were introduced by referring to the works in the collection. The Güngör-Güner Ar?bal Collection inside the ?lhan Koman Museum is a selection of typical examples from the Republic to the present day. It is important in terms of to show different trends, periods , artist section in Turkey and allows to understand of lines giving directions to Turkish Art
