Traditional textiles, inherited from the past is one of the most important part of our culture. They reflects the history, way of life, geographical aspects, religious and social organism of people who lives in the region. Turkish nation has always protected and helped his widely known culture and the movement since existence. As a cultural movement, transferring the textiles which were widely used in the past to the next generations is very important. And that’s why the term protecting becames vital. In this context, this work deals with the textiles which have an important place in Isparta Gönen’s wedding ceremonies. Bride, groom and relatives dresses are determined and put into bundles before the wedding cerenomy in Gönen region. In a bridal outfit you can see a handmade embroidered packing case, mattress, quilt and pillows. In the packing case a curtain, lace, coarse muslin, quilt cover, kerchief, canvas, embroiders and clothes of the bride. The traditional costumes, prepeared for the bride; wedding gown, replacement clothes, bridal veil, red sequined veil and for the groom; suit and shirt. In Isparta Gönen region, the traditional textiles which have important role in wedding cerenomies will be studied under the headlines of “engage one's word kerchief and bundle’’, ‘’Home Textile’’, ‘’Clothes and Fabrics’’, ‘’ Wovens and Felts’’, ‘’Shakedown, Quilt and Pillow’’. The aim of this study is handling the traditional textiles and enlighten their dissapearings traditions integrate into the literature which comes from past to present. In this way the work is genuine and valuable.
