In today’s world, speed is the fundamental ability among talent wars. Quickly attracting and recruiting highly educated employee provides competitive advantage in this war. Most of the companies in Turkey have started to invest on this subject like the other countries. There have been many researches done on this subject; however, in our country’s literature, it is very difficult to find any data or research related to this subject. Due to this reason, this research examines usage of social networking sites in leading companies and provides data on the advantages and disadvantages of the usage for the companies. The main purpose of this research is to investigate human resources employees’ point of view on the processes by comparing the advantages of usage of social networking sites as a recruitment tool with the rest of the tools and by analyzing social networking sites’ impact on the recruitment processes.
