In the light of the post - election crisis of 2010 which led to a deep social divide in Ivorian society , even if the reconstruction of the social fabricremains very fragile in Abobo commune, the traditional chiefdoms have through strategies based on customary practices, including the palaver tree and Ivorian dialogue to integrate the arena of the process of reconstitution of the fabric social crisis after a decade of military-political crisis in Côte d'Ivoire. It is on this basis that this study proposes, based on a content analysis to highlight the contribution of traditional chiefdoms in rebuilding social ties in Côte d'Ivoire, specifically in Abobo. Methodologically, the study relies exclusively on a qualitative approach. To this end, we used semi-structured interviews and especially direct observation. This study reveals that the participation of traditional chieftaincies in the prevention and management of conflicts in the Ebrié villages of Abobo extends on several points: the cooperation between traditional chieftaincy and religious leaders to minimize the damage during the post-electoral crisis, the crisis as a factor of strengthening solidarity between indigenous people against external attacks, strengthening communication with neighboring districts to minimize the damage during the post-election violence of 2010. The use of traditional justice (the palaver tree) for strengthening social cohesion in the village of Abobo-Baoulé, including the management of ethnic and political issues. In the village of AnonkouaKouté, it ended in the post-election crisis by : the establishment of the Committee of Wise and Peace, affiliated to the traditional Chiefdom, the inclusion of youth associations in the CDC.
