The aim of this study is to determine whether coaches’ trait anger and anger expression styles differ according to various variables. The research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The research group consisted of 64 women (55.7%) and 51 men (44.3%) active in Istanbul (115 mean age = 25.23 ± 8.95). The Trait Anger-Anger Style Scale was used to determine the coaches’ trait anger and anger expression styles. Skewness-Kurtosis normality distribution test was used to determine whether the measurements were suitable for normal distribution. As a result, t-test and One way - Anova tests were applied. POST HOCK Sheff tests were used to determine the source of the difference. While the mean scores of trait anger, anger-in and anger-out were low on the coaches participating in the research, it was understood that the anger-control scores on the anger-expressing styles were above the mid-level. According to the personal characteristics, trait anger levels showed a statistically significant difference according to the gender variable, but no statistically significant difference was found according to the variables of year of service, place of residence, educational status of mother and father, sports and type of sport
