Films are subject of study for literature researchers because of scenery texts. In this respect scenery text of Hotel Transylvania I-II, is suitable to analyze in aspect of literature–cinema relation. In scenery text of film many elements of postmodernism have appeared. First of all is intertextuality. In film, techniques of intertextuality pastiche parody and comic transformation is utilized. Characters of Hotel Transylvania I-II are formerly appeared in horror type. In animation version with the techniques of pastiche parody and comic transformation these horror characters become sympathetic characters. In this respect, fear and love are transformed with postmodern technique and provided to question fearfulness of fiction characters. In this paper, transforming of love and fear in Hotel Transylvania I-II with postmodern techniques is examined in terms of literature- cinema relation.
