From 1923 when his first poem was published to 1983 when he died, K?sakürek wrote and published poems incessantly, and thematic features of his poetry appears to be as important as stylistic charactersitics. Our aim is to bring out how the notion “woman” in his thematically rich poetry exposes his imagination, attitude and opinion through a detailed analysis. In this regard, his 250 poems some published in “Örümcek A??”, “Kald?r?mlar”, “Ben ve Ötesi”, “Sonsuzluk Kervan?”, “?iirler”, and “Çile” and others appeared in magazines and papers or extracted from late editions of his books are examined chronologically in this study beside his 361 one-line poems he named “Noktalama”- punctuation. The theme “woman” is handled under subheadings “Lover and Beloved”, “Mother”, and “Woman Except Lover and Beloved” in this study.
