Middle age Turkish history works as a main source are limited. The 15th century historian Yaz?c?zâde Ali’s work Tevârîh-i Âl-i Selçuk, which is written in 1434, Murad the 2nd period, is one of the main source in this age. It is known with many different names as Tevârîh-i Âl-i Selçuk, Târi?-i Âl-i Selçuk, O?uz-nâme, Selçu?- nâme. Tevârîh-i Âl-i Selçuk is different than other works in the history of Seljuk with its content. Therefore, in this work pre-islamic Turkish History, Seljuk, Ghaznavid, Mongols, Kharzem Shah State, the period of Seigniory of Anatolia and the history of Ottoman Empire’s beginning are mentioned and can be named as a Overall Turkish History. With the help of the work one can reach the important and detailed information about names, tamgas, bones, traditions, the method of being khan and bey, usage of dual administration in governance, the family tree of Seljuk, and the details relationship with other governments of the Oghuz tribe. In this article, the information about the importance of the work, copies, its language, its wording of Tevârîh-i Âl-i Selçuk by Yaz?c?zâde Ali, are given and addition to that word groups are evaluated.
